1. Our commitment

SEO Retriever™ is operated by iGlacier, LLC. We are in the business of helping local companies get found by the people looking for them, and a website that shuts people out is the opposite of that. We treat an accessibility barrier on this site as a defect: something to reproduce, fix, and ship, not something to explain away.

This statement covers seoretriever.com, our public website, including the Help Center. Our signed-in application at app.seoretriever.com is a separate product; if you hit a barrier there, please use the same contact route below and say which screen you were on.

2. The standard we build to

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the benchmark most widely used to judge whether a website is usable by people with disabilities.

Accessibility is part of how we build this site rather than a check we run at the end. The next section sets out what we test for and what we have verified.

3. What we test

As of the date at the top of this page, we have verified the following ourselves across the home page, the pricing page, the comparison pages, the industry pages, and the Help Center:

  • Color contrast. Every text element we measured meets the WCAG AA contrast minimum against its actual background - 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text.
  • Keyboard access. The site can be operated without a mouse. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach and becomes visible when focused, every interactive control is reachable in a sensible order, and focus is always visibly outlined.
  • Custom controls. The pricing calculator's industry selector behaves as a real radio group: one stop in the tab order, arrow keys to move between choices. Its sliders and number fields are labeled, and the price is announced to screen readers as it changes.
  • Expandable sections. The FAQ and disclosure sections are real buttons that report their open or closed state, work with Enter and Space, and keep focus where you left it.
  • Page structure. Every page declares its language, has a single main heading, uses headings in order without skipping levels, marks its main, navigation, and footer regions, and gives every image alternative text.
  • Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations and transitions are turned off.

4. How to tell us about a barrier

Please tell us through our contact page. It reaches the people who can actually change the site.

It helps, but is not required, if you can tell us:

  • The page you were on, or what you were trying to do.
  • What happened, and what you expected instead.
  • The browser and any assistive technology you were using.

We will acknowledge your message within five business days and tell you what we plan to do about it. If a fix will take time, we will say so rather than go quiet.

5. If you need something another way

If part of this site is not working for you and you need the information now, ask us and we will get it to you another way - over the phone, by email, or in whatever format suits you. You do not need to wait for us to fix the page, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.

6. Changes to this statement

We update this statement whenever the facts change - when we complete testing we have listed as outstanding, when an audit is done, or when we fix something named here. The date at the top always reflects the last revision.
