Your Agency Team
Who at your agency can work on your clients.
In your app: /agency-team/
Your agency team is the group of people who sign in under your agency. Everyone on it can open every client. The only thing that differs between people is whether they can change billing.
The two roles
- Owner. The person who signed the agency up, or whoever ownership was handed to since. The owner can do everything, and is the only person who can start, change, or cancel the plan, add or drop clients in a way that changes the bill, and hand a client over.
- Staff. Everyone else. Staff can open every client, read every screen, work the to-do lists, and change a client's settings. They can't touch billing.
Inviting someone
Enter their work email on the Team screen. They get an invitation, sign in with a one-time code like everyone else, and the invitation is accepted when they do. There's no password to set up or share.
Removing someone
Remove a person from the Team screen and they lose access to every client on their next request. Nothing has to be changed on the clients themselves, because agency members don't hold individual logins on each client business.
Agency roles vs. client roles
People at a client business have their own logins, with the business roles this guide describes elsewhere: owner, admin, or viewer. Those are separate from agency roles. An agency's staff never appear in a client's team list, and a client's users never appear in yours. See What Your Clients See.
Handing the agency to someone else. Ownership moves through a hand-over that both people confirm by email. It changes who can run billing; it doesn't change anything about your clients.
