What Your Clients See

Your branding, their own logins, and no bill. Here's the client's view of an agency account.

A client business on your plan gets the same product as a business that pays us directly: all nine modules, the SEO Score, the weekly email, and the alerts. What differs is whose name is on it, who can log in, and what's missing.

Logins for people at the client

You can invite people at the client business to their own logins. They sign in with a one-time code, the same as anyone else, and they only ever see their own business. Two roles are available to them:

  • Admin can change the business's settings and work the to-do list.
  • Viewer can look at everything and change nothing.

Neither role can see prices, invoices, or billing, and there's no Plan & Billing screen for them. Where a direct customer would see billing, a client user sees one line: Managed by your agency.

What carries your name

  • The dashboard header, with your logo or your name as text.
  • The sign-in page you hand them, once your plan is paid.
  • Every email about their business: the weekly summary, alerts, sign-in codes, and the emails that ask for an address or an industry during setup. Your name is the sender and replies come to your reply-to address.

What still carries ours

  • The web address: app.seoretriever.com.
  • The sending address on emails: hello@seoretriever.com, with your name on it.
  • The browser tab icon.

There's no custom domain or sending address yet, and no downloadable client report. The dashboard and the weekly email are the report.

Who can see what

Everyone on your agency team can open every client. People at a client business can open only their own. Your staff don't appear in a client's team list, and a client's people don't appear in yours.

If a client asks what SEO Retriever is. It's fine to tell them. Your branding is there so the product reads as part of your service, not to hide who built the software. The address bar says it anyway.
